Quick Update ~ Life in Montana

Greetings friends,

Life in Montana has been going well for me and Lori. We are settling in and have begun to build new relationships. Though the harvest is plentiful, the workers are certainly few… We are overseeing 3 Ignite interns and helping out at the church under the pastor and his wife. We have been able to accomplish a few work projects, (new lawn, intern’s cabin, help get camp set up for youth camp, etc…) and have enjoyed being able to help in this way.

Lori and I have taken a ministry idea from our home church and use it for outreach here in Browning… “Bless a Business Friday” is where we take a dozen donuts to a local business and bless them with them, offer to pray for their needs, and invite them to the church and Saturday Kids Club. So far we have been very well received and have prayed for many of the business employees and owners. It has been a great way to meet new people and share the love of Christ with them.

Kids club has been a real blessing. We have met many really great kids and over the past ten weeks have ministered and shared Christ with over 80 of them. The interns are the ones who plan, prepare, and present the kids club activities, crafts, music, and lessons and are doing a fabulous job with the kids. We have a few volunteers from Whitefish and occasionally will receive some from Eureka as well. Many of the outlying areas are energized about being able to come alongside Glacier View Baptist Chapel and and PFM to share the love of Christ with the kids.

This next few weeks will be quite busy for us. We have a couple mission teams coming, the Pow-Wow, VBS, and other activities. We have one cabin to finish before the end of the month and a new one we will be building early July… Please pray that we will not get too caught up on schedules and activities to spend the needed time personally with the Lord. Also, Lori and I are doing well. We are excited to spend our 20th wedding anniversary together this month. We had hoped over the last few years to do a romantic trip of a lifetime to Ireland and Scotland, however, God had different plans and we are blessed to spend it in Browning Montana 🙂 ~ God is good and we look forward to seeing Him work in and through us over the busy summer months.

I am hoping to do short weekly or bi-monthly updates and apologize it has been a couple of months since the last post. Remember, you can always follow us on Facebook as well. Thank you for your prayers and support… it has been a real blessing to us!
