Daily In Christ

Verse Of The Day:
Eph 5:1 Therefore be imitators of God, as beloved children.
Eph 5:2 And walk in love, as Christ loved us and gave himself up for us, a fragrant offering and sacrifice to God.

Daily Thought:
As a child of God we are to be imitators of God as well. One of the chief characteristics of our Lord is Love. This verse today reminds me to walk in love. When I am wronged by someone I am to walk in love. When things are going well I am to walk in love. Christ loved us so much He gave himself up for us. Today is a good day to remember to walk in His love.

My Prayer:
Lord, help me to love others the way you love me and gave your self up for me. I pray for the patience and courage to love people the way you love them and to be willing  to lay down my desires for the needs of others. Amen
